A film to honor those who donated their body to science.
Each year, several hundred people choose to donate their bodies to science after they pass away. That is a beautiful, selfless decision, although it may be hard and emotionally charged for the next of kin as they will have no place to mourn.
We made a film, narrated by André van Duin, where we asked professors, physicians, and students of VUmc to express their gratitude in words, music or song. We meet them during a walk through the beautiful cemetery De Nieuwe Ooster.
