In the documentary we explore the social impact of amateur football clubs on its surroundings. We portray a diverse group of clubs and individuals. Your Club For Everyone was broadcasted online and on KPN Digital. And developed as part of De Nationale Voetbaldag 2021.

I’m incredibly proud that with this documentary, we were able to visualise the power of football. These remarkable stories are the tip of the iceberg. There is so much life and the community at our clubs. And every story, by a club, a team, or a player is straight-up inspiring. It brings the social function of our clubs to the fore. And that shows how indispensable and versatile this ‘game’ is.
There are three thousand football clubs in the Netherland. Together they form our most extensive social network. For decennia, player gather here – every weekend, 3.5 million people. They play together, share their life, and they help each other. In an increasingly distant world, amateur football shows itself as a force of connection.
